Floods and Flowers, an odd Summer

Happy New Year to you. The holiday season here has been an odd one. Scorching heat, then freezing cold. This is our summer.

Of course most of you would have heard about the horrific floods in Queensland, which if you would like to help go here, to Philanthropy Australia and have a read, and here, where Toni is organising flood appeal auctions. There are some incredible pictures here. With the weather the way it is at the moment, there is now flooding in NSW and Victoria as well. We can only pray that it stops and everyone stays safe.

On the sewing front not a lot has been going on. Gifts were made for Christmas - no photos as I was in a hurry to wrap them (of course being a procrastination queen I was still sewing on Christmas day morning to finish them). There is sewing halfway made... Photos soon of course.

Here is some of the fabric I have been playing with lately.

The garden has been a source of delight this summer for me.

Sweet Peas

Lemon Verbeena

Budlia

Butterfly

Hopefully some finished crafts pictures coming soon.

Take Care of yourself.
