Still Here

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, even though it may look that way. I've been hibernating, studying and reading lots. Study has taken up a great deal of time.
Its been so cold this winter, that staying indoors tucked up under a blanket with a good book at night has been my preferred activity.
There has been a bit sewing here and there, not as much as I'd like. I feel like I've lost my sewing mojo. I have plenty of idea's and projects, just not enough time or motivation to carry through.

So here a few of the things I've made since I last posted in June.

This shirt is from Simplicity 4077. Its a fitted shirt, and its the first one I've made. I was happy with the way it turned out, but I could not deal with wearing a fitted shirt, I took the gathers and tucks out (i didn't cut them when I was making it - thank goodness), and it feels much better.

This scarf has kept me nice and warm this winter. The silver fabric is panne velvet, and its so soft and comfortable. The grey fabric has pretty little sprays of flowers embroidered on it.

I made this bag out of an old velvet skirt from the 70's, purchased it from a thrift shop with a bag in mind. It sat in the cupboard for quite a few years until I finally got around to making it. Its lined with a purple shirt.

Another pouch made for a friend.

I hope that everyone is well, and you have been surviving the Winter well. I'll be round to visit soon.

Take Care and keep crafting.
