Rainbows and Skirts

On New Years day late in the evening, when dusk was coming, and the last of the evening light turned a wonderful hue yellow, there was a double rainbow. It was huge, very bright and well, just special ! I took it as a sign, that things in 2010 will be just grand.

Wardrobe Adventures

I have lately discovered that I have a large amount of skirts in my wardrobe. So I am going to have a bit of a skirt fest whilst the warmer weather permits.
Had a great surprise last week. A nice linen skirt that I had purchased from an op-shop to chop up, suddenly fit me.( It was so nice I just could not bring myself to cut it up, and had put it on the shelf, for some day in the future. ) It started me thinking about how many skirts I had stashed in the wardrobe, and after a bit of an explore I found that I had quite a few. Some of them are quite nice, and some of them I wouldn't want to wear out of the house. One thing for sure, is that I want to wear all of these skirts that have been lurking around in my wardrobe. Why let them waste away where I will never see them ? If its nice, I'm going to wear it!

Have you got nice clothes wasting away in your wardrobe that you never wear ? Wear them, we don't need a special occasion to wear nice things, every day is special.

It was one of those small but meaningful experiences when that skirt finally fit me. Quite a nice feeling.
